This account is for local candidates and has different rules than the Federal.
- Contributions to the non-federal accounts of a PAC do not count against the federal limits of a PAC.
- Subject to state laws, a PAC can usually take unlimited contributions from any source, including individuals, corporations and unions.
- Only U.S. citizens and permanent legal residents of the U.S. may contribute to the non-federal PAC.
