On The Rachel Maddow Show last night, Dr. Mila Means of Wichita, Kansas spoke out on the harassment that she has endured since anti-choice groups leaked her name to the press. Currently in training to provide abortion care services to the Wichita community, Dr. Means is also being sued by her landlord to prevent her from providing abortions in her present medical offices. Below is the interview with Dr. Means that appeared on Rachel’s show last night.

We have to give Rachel and her crew big props for consistently and critically reporting on the tactics of harassment, threats, and violence employed by the anti-choice movement to prevent physicians from providing necessary and legal procedures to their patients. Thank you, Rachel and company for exposing domestic terrorism for what it is and not letting these groups literally get away with murder.
I’ve been watching TRMS and was wondering why Dr. Means doesn’t set up her clinic in Highrise building. That would virtually solve all security issues.
Because it’s Wichita, and there are not many high rise buildings, aside from the downtown area, and there are especially few available to rent. I am one of Dr. Means patients and i will personally say, this lady helped save my life. I am a recovering heroin addict, and she not only has me on opiate maitenence, she also takes the time to actually get to know and seems legitimately interested in my life and the lives of my family. For her to be anything less than heralded for her work is an absolute travesty.
